I am very far behind on my mail so sorry for the late reply. I've made this recipe several times, and if you use frozen noodles, you avoid having them turn out mushy and the liquid gets absorbed, especially if you have leftovers. Maybe next time use just the soops and not the broth, or one less can of the broth. I don't think I would use any butter, but you did a grate job.
