Microwave apple crisp

 Ingredients
 6 cups unpeeled apples, cored and sliced.  Use a variety  such as Rome,
 gala, Fuji, mackintosh, etc. Do not
use
 delicious as they get too mushy.
 three quarters of a cup light brown sugar
 one third cup quick cooking oatmeal -- not instant oatmeal
 one third cup light brown sugar
 one half cup white flour
 one teaspoon cinnamon
 one stick of butter right from the fridge

 In a two quart microwave dish, arrange apples tossed with the three
quarters
 cup brown sugar. Set aside while making the topping from the remaining
 ingredients. Mix everything except the butter in a medium bowl. Cut the
 butter into small pieces and rub it into the dry mixture with your fingers
 until you have a rough but moist mixture. Arrange topping over the apples
 and microwave uncovered on high for 15 minutes. Let stand for five minutes
 before serving.
