HOT DOGS with CHEESE POTATOES 8 hot dogs 2 cups warm mashed potatoes 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Split hot dogs lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through. Arrange the hot dogs, cut sides up, in a rectangular baking pan, pressing down to open flat. Spoon equal amounts of mashed potatoes down center of each hot dog. Sprinkle green onions over potatoes, then top with cheese. Bake in oven 8 to 10 minutes or until heated through.
