I purchased the George Forman cookbook to learn how to cook on it. It has tips to make sure your food does not dry out. Some foods need liquid with them, some need cooking spray or a little oil, and timing is key too. If you leave food on the grill too long, it will dry out. I believe from this description that the Teefal grill times things perfectly and uses a sensor to stop this from happening.
