Here's one I like a lot, though I haven't had it in a while because I'm dieting.
2 boxes of macaroni and cheese 1 stick of butter ½ cup of milk 1 lb. of hamburger meat (your choice of beef, chicken, turkey, whatever) 1 medium onion, chopped 1 can of mushroom pieces and stems, drained 1 jar (14oz) spaghetti or pizza sauce Brown the ground meat in the onion and drain. Boil the macaroni until proper tenderness to your taste, and while it's boiling melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove top. Mix in the cheese powder and milk, stir until well mixed, then set aside to solidify. Drain pasta and mix it into the cheese sauce. Then add the meat and onion mixture and mushrooms, following with the sauce. Stir until well mixed. You may optionally garnish with parmesan cheese gratings. Serves 6-8 if accompanied or 3-4 if served as a one dish meal. > -----Original Message----- > From: Cookinginthedark [mailto:[email protected]] > On Behalf Of sayegh.mary--- via Cookinginthedark > Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2014 9:13 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [CnD] Spaghetti > > What are some recipes I can use spaghetti sauce in besides spaghetti? > > Sent from my iPhone > _______________________________________________ > Cookinginthedark mailing list > [email protected] > http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
