Yes. There r 8 tablespoons in a stick of butter/margarine so you can cut in half, then in half again for each piece. and then cut each of those in half for 8 equal pieces. When I'm doing a lot of baking/cooking, I cut apart a few sticks and put them in ziplocks so they r ready when I need them.
