Crockpot Pork and
Sauerkraut
1 package of Sauerkraut. Drained and rinsed.
1 apple
1/3 c brown sugar
2 lbs pork roast
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp granulated garlic
1/4 tsp black pepper
Cut the onions into rings and place on bottom of crockpot
Slice the apple into thin rings and mix in with Sauerkraut and place over
onion rings. Sprinkle on the brown sugar over kraut.
Mix the granulated garlic, salt and pepper and rub all over pork roast.
Place roast on top of Sauerkraut
Turn the crockpot on high for about a hour, than to low for 4 hours.
Fix mashed potatoes and serve kraut over mash potatoes , slice pork thin and
enjoy. I use bulgur in place of the mashed potatoes.
