Fluffy Shortbread Cookies 1 cup butter (margarine does NOT work), softened 1/2 cup icing sugar 1 1/2 cups flour small jar maraschino cherries
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat ingredients together until light and fluffy (usually 5 or more minutes). Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Top with maraschino cherry.
