Hello - I have a locking lid pasta pot that has straining holes in the lid.
Until I was given this pot for a Christmas gift, I always over shot the strainer in the kitchen sink. Now, this pot has taken its place with my favorite cook ware. I enjoy letting the steam hit my face and do not worry about how I am aiming the pot. Even more when I have the gloves on to keep from getting burned, not being able to feel where the strainer is not a problem. Just flip the pot and be done with it.
