Hamburgers Angostura 2 pounds ground beef 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons Angostura 1/2 cup ice water For Sauce 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 1/4 cup water 1 teaspoon Angostura 1 tablespoon minced onion 2 tablespoons minced green pepper 2 tablespoons minced celery Combine meat with salt and pepper. Mix 2 teaspoons Angostura with ice water and pour over meat. Blend thoroughly and shape into 8 patties. Broil or pan fry hamburgers quickly to desired degree of doneness. Serve hot with sauce. For Sauce, combine all ingredients for sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. Makes 8 patties.
