I buy measuring spoons that will hold liquids well. They should be curved and deep instead of the more flat kind. They hold liquids well without spilling. 1 and one half teaspoons = 0.25 or a quarter ounce 1 tablespoon = 0.5 or one half ounce 2 tablespoons = 1 ounce
When possible, I dip out the liquid instead of pouring. You can use an eye dropper or syringe or I pour a ittle into a cup, dip out the the amount, and our it back into the container using a small funnel I keep in the kitchen drawer. I once used a turkey baster to measure in someone else's kitchen. It worked. *smile* Regina Marie Phone: 916-877-4320 Email: [email protected] Follow me: http://www.twitter.com/mamaraquel Find Me: http://www.facebook.com/reginamarie Listen Live: http://www.jandjfm.com -----Original Message----- From: Jude DaShiell via Cookinginthedark [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, March 05, 2015 7:29 AM To: [email protected]; Nancy Martin Subject: Re: [CnD] SPARKLING LEPRECHAUN KISS DRINK Small measurements are easy. The drops you use an eye dropper to handle them. The ounces are easy too. Remember 16 tablespoons to a cup? That's cooking tablespoons and an 8 ounce cup too. Well, 2 tablespoons gets you one ounce, and one tablespoon gets you .5 ounces.
