Butterscotch Brownies
1/3 cup Butter 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed 1 egg 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup chopped nuts Melt the butter; add remaining ingredients. Stir well; pour into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into squares.
