I know this is a old post on the pots but here is something: SCORCHED-POTS & LOVELY-FLOWERS TIPS SOS FOR A SCORCHED POT---You accidentally left the chowder on the stove too long, leaving a burnt layer in the pot that you can't scrub away. The save: Fill the pot halfway with water, then drop in 1 effervescent table like Alka Seltzer. Use 2 tablets for a large pot. The bubbling will help loosen stuck on goop so you can easily wipe it away... ENSURE YOUR FLOWERS LOOK LOVELY TWICE AS LONG---You receive a gorgeous bouquet, and the flowers wilt too soon. To prolong the beauty: Every other day, spritz the leaves and petals with room temp water. This direct watering will keep the buds healthier. This works for roses but isn't advised for fragile plants... __._,_.___
