I know this is a old post on the pots but here is something:
SCORCHED-POTS & LOVELY-FLOWERS TIPS
SOS FOR A SCORCHED POT---You accidentally left the chowder on the stove too
long, leaving a burnt layer in the pot that you can't scrub away. The save:
Fill the pot halfway with water, then drop in 1 effervescent table like Alka
Seltzer. Use 2 tablets for a large pot. The bubbling will help loosen stuck
on goop so you can easily wipe it away...
ENSURE YOUR FLOWERS LOOK LOVELY TWICE AS LONG---You receive a gorgeous
bouquet, and the flowers wilt too soon. To prolong the beauty: Every other
day, spritz the leaves and petals with room temp water. This direct watering
will keep the buds healthier. This works for roses but isn't advised for
fragile plants...

Today's trouble is enough for today."
