In our house, coffee is brewed from freshly ground French-Roast beans, and we use a French-Press Coffee Pot, as well as an electric kettle. I fill the pot with water up to the level where it needs to be, then pour that amount of water into the kettle and turn it on. I grind the coffee in a Burr Grinder, pour the grounds into the French-Press pot, pour in the boiling water when it's ready, let it stand for 4 minutes, then plunge the grounds down to the bottom of the pot and pour the pot's contents into a warmed thermol pitcher. It sounds like an involved process, but it really isn't -- I can do it with my eyes closed! -- and I think French-Press is the best coffee! Penny
