LOST UNBAKED FRUIT CAKE
1 lb.
Graham crackers
1 lb.
Dates, cut fine
1 lb.
Golden raisins
1 cup English walnuts, cut fine
1 lb.
Marshmallows, cut into bits
1 lb.
Red and green gumdrops, cut into bits
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup heavy cream whipped
Crush the crackers into crumbs. Mix in the chopped fruits, the nuts, the
marshmallows and the gumdrops. Add in the sugar and the whipped cream,
blending well. Pack the mixture very tightly into two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans
and wrap them snugly with aluminum foil. Let the pans stand in the
refrigerator for about two weeks before using the cakes. Enjoy.
