I'll bet you could find one for a lower cost at Wal-Mart. It has been my
experience that if you get something from an organization that caters to the
blind, you pay a higher price, plus the shipping cost. For example, a
talking microwave compared to one that can be marked with dymo tape or some
other method. Even something like a George Forman grill at a local store
will probably cost less than one from ILA, even though they might be the
same unit.
