Hi, I know you want to use the skillet but have you thought of the George Forman Grill?
It is a lot faster and there's no flames. It only takes a few minutes on each side to cook. Don't put too much butter or margarine because the cheese will melt everywhere and burn. It should take about 5 minutes to cook. I use my grill about every day and love it!
