Apache Bread
1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Scant of milk Sift and mix flour, baking flour, and salt in a bowl. Add enough milk to make the dough soft and pliable. Place dough on a floured surface. Need a few times. Roll with a rolling pin and cut into squares or rounds as in biscuits. Fry in oil about an inch deep (maybe 2 inches) until brown on both sides. Take from frying pan and drain.
