This is where when cooking documenting new recipe results can be helpful. In all of the adjustment to blindness programs I've cycled through this as a tip was never mentioned. What did you expect from a recipe or procedure; what did you get, the date, and finally is this a keeper or a failure? If a failure, is it worth trying again and fixing or not? If you fix it, document your fixes against a date and recipe or procedure and keep those records in a safe place. This way you get more effective and more efficient in your cooking. Memory goes with age; writing if kept safe can last longer.

Hi Mike,

Good luck! It sounds wonderful, so I'm betting the turkey will be really great
and moist!

My sister-in-law once cooked one. It was the most moist and the best turkey I
ever had, only she can't remember how she cooked it. She thinks she put it in
a baking bag.

Could someone please tell me how long to cook a whole turkey? This will
be our first thanksgiving without my mom and the duty of cooking the turkey is
falling on my nephew and me. We would like to doctor the turkey with some
spices or seasonings or something like that. Thanks for all of your help. mike
