Ground Beef And Rice Casserole Recipe | CDKitchen.com

An easy family favorite. Ground beef is mixed with onion soup mix, cream of
mushroom soup, onion, and rice and baked in a casserole dish until done.

ready in: 1-2 hrs

ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup water
1 cup uncooked instant rice
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, optional

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain off any excess grease.
Combine the beef and onions with the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup,
water, and rice until mixed.

Pour into a casserole dish and bake, covered, at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or
until rice is cooked.

Uncover and sprinkle with cheese. Put back in oven until cheese is melted.
Enjoy. Marilyn
