To my fellow cooking in the dark blind cook subscribers. Here is a copy of a letter that I wrote to the tech support people behind the nuwave portable oven. I told them that if they subscribe to this list, we'd give them plenty of positive feedback on how to improve on their Nuwave oven so that we too may enjoy it even better than we already do now. So here's the letter. Ron -----Original Message----- From: Ron Kolesar Sent: Sunday, November 19, 2017 11:16 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Asking a few questions and some comments from a blind possible buyer. Hello, My name is Ron Kolesar and I am blind. First the comments. I belong to a list of blind consumers who lean upon one another for tips and tricks and recipes on cooking their favorite dishes. The name of the list is Cooking in the Dark. If you would like feedback on the nuwave oven, you might want to subscribe to the list and make your proposal for feedback on how to make your oven even better especially to blind cooks. Here's the subscription info that you'll need. To subscribe to the list, do the following: [email protected] Have the word subscribe in the subject. Send the blank e-mail to the above address. You'll receive a confirmation letter. Just reply to it. When you're ok for the list, to write letters to the list, the address is at: [email protected] Now for the questions. 1. Probably on low heat, could one place a cup in to reheat a cold beverage? 2. Also, like you can do in the microwave, can one place either a paper plate and or bowl or plastic plate or bowl probably once again on low heat in the nuwave oven? Probably on high heat would act like a grill? Would one have to still flip meat while using the nuwave oven? What are the temperatures on all three levels in the Fahrenheit scale for the U.S.? Probably also on low power one could use the browning feature of the nuwave oven for those soft pretzels, heating up a sandwich, or heating up anything else you could reheat in a microwave oven? What I'm likening about the Nuwave portable oven both from the web page and from the cooking in the dark list 1. the quickness as like in a microwave. 2. you also have the tools of a convection oven for browning and other features. >From what I've learned from the Cooking in the dark mailing list and from your >web page I am highly interested in this product. I like the fact that for once we still have a product with actual physical touchable buttons instead of a flat panel control center. It is nice that the buttons all beep when pressed, but it would be better if at all possible if we could receive voice output for better confirmation. You see, we have to depend on our ears since our eyes do not work for our feedback confirmation that what we performed was that we wanted to perform. That way there's no mistakes. Please keep up the great work. I still would strongly highly recommend that you subscribe to the cooking in the dark mailing list where I'm sure you'll get all kinds of feedback on how to improve on your product. I thank you for taking the time out for reading this letter. Ron Kolesar a possible future buyer of the nuwave portable oven over a microwave oven. _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
