Cherry Christmas Slices 2 cups butter 2 cups confectioners' sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 1/2 cups flour 4 cups candied cherries 2 cups chopped nuts
Cream butter and confectioners' sugar. Add egg and vanilla extract. Add flour. Stir in cherries and nuts. Divide dough into fourths. Form into logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Slice into 1/4-inch slices. Bake at 325 degrees F for 10 - 12 minutes.
