Baked Cowboy Steak
1-1/2 lb. round steak, cut into 1" cubes
2 TB vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup ketchup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
1 TB granulated sugar
2 TB Worcestershire sauce
Heat oil in a frying pan. Saute steak cubes until nicely browned.
Place the browned steak cubes into a 2-quart casserole dish.
Add remaining ingredients into the frying pan. Mix well and simmer
for 3 minutes. Pour over steak cubes.
Cover casserole and bake at 350 degrees F., for 1 hour.
Uncover and bake 30 minutes.
Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.

 

Makes six servings.  Enjoy.
