Hi Pamela,

We used to eat the Betty Crocker scalloped and the au gratin. I'd put ham on
top and it was really good. But now everything like that is way too
salty--sometimes even the "less salt" packages. But it was nice for when we
got home from work and didn't want to cook. It took about 30 or 45 minutes or
something like--no peeling and all that. I used to have a recipe for ham and
potatoes in the crock pot but there again, there was more preparation. Here's
hoping your potatoes turned out okay.

Deb B.

Mine may well be a GE too but I don't remember. Right now I have some boxed
sliced potatoes with cheese cooking, which may turn out to be awful. Hi Pamela,

We don't eat as much salt as we used to so everything seems salty. Most of
those boxed mixes are. I don't know how long it has been in my pantry or how it
got there. I don't ever remember buying such a thing. Maybe it got added at the
check out counter by accident and should have been part of the order ahead or
behind me.
Anyway I can eat part of it to give some body to my salad tonight.

My stove is GE, General Electric. They included a tiny bottle of CeramaBryte
with the stove. I found it for sale in Office Depot, of all places. It works
great on the stove.
