CHOOSE A CAKE MIX COOKIES
2 pkg. 2 layer sized yellow cake mix, pudding type 2/3 c. butter, melted 1/4 c. water 2 eggs 12 oz. pkg. (2 c.) miniature semi - sweet chocolate pieces In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix, butter, egg and 1/4 cup of water. Mix well (dough will be stiff). Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove and cool on wire racks. Makes approximately 7 dozen. Peanut Butter Cookies - Same recipe except use chocolate cake (pudding type). Mix and stir in 2 cups of candy coated milk chocolate peanuts, halved. Carrot Raisin cookies - Same recipe except use carrot spice cake mix (pudding type) and stir in 2 cups of raisins. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
