DAN'S MACA BAKE SALE SNICKERDOODLES
1/2 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. shortening 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 3/4 c. flour 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter, shortening, sugar, eggs. Blend together the flour, tartar, soda, and salt. Add to creamy blend, gently folding it in. Shape into balls. If balls are sticky to the hands, cool mixture in refrigerator about 1 hour. Mix into teaspoon balls. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon together and roll half of dough ball into mixture. Place cinnamon side up onto ungreased sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
