I have the five finger oven mits and use them as well.

Here is a link to the long mitts.  They come with a square pad for putting a
pot on.  They are expensive, but I have not had to replace them like I used
to have to replace the cloth ones.  They can also be washed in the
dishwasher or washing machine.  I really love them.  There are cheaper ones
elsewhere, but I've bought some of those, and many of them fail.  I had to
throw them away because the surface of one of them burned and so did I.  So
Dale's are the way to go.
