Chocolate Buttercream Frosting Recipe with Truvia Cane Sugar Blend

Ingredients

1 cup Truvia Cane Sugar Blend

1 tsp corn starch

3⁄4 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted

1⁄2 tsp salt

2 tsp vanilla extract

 

Directions

1.Combine Truvia Cane Sugar Blend and corn starch. Add to coffee or spice 
grinder and pulverize until very fine; the volume should increase 30-50%. This 
will give the frosting a smooth texture.

 

2.Cream butter with a paddle attachment for 2 minutes at medium speed.

 

3.Sift the powdered Truvia Cane Sugar Blend into the mixing bowl. Add the 
melted chocolate, salt and vanilla and mix at low speed for 1 minute.

 

4.Mix at medium speed for 3 minutes.

 

5.If you prefer a thinner frosting, add 1 Tbsp milk, mix and repeat until 
desired frosting consistency is achieved.

What type of flour will you use?

 

What sugar source will you use? 

 

Do you want frosting? What kind?

 

On the internet I am primarily seeing chocolate, vanilla, and lemon cake 
flavors, as well as keto pound cake.
