This article is a sales pitch for a wifi service provider who would love to 
collect people's personal data. It is not an accurate representation of the law 
in this area.

I have and will continue to run events in the UK with open or semi-open wifi 
(UKNOF, EMFCamp, etc) without the need to invasively snoop on users and retain 
their personal data.
