And let's not forget the discussions in the corridors, over coffee and lunch. They are extremely valuable networking opportunities and are even more 'off the record', as far as the government attendees are concerned, than questions they might ask from the floor of the formal sessions.

This is perhaps one reason why so many of the attendees are not in fact Government/Regulators, but I*/private sector folk with valuable insights into the various issues.
