Dear Colleagues, As you may already have seen, the NTIA has published a Request For Comment regarding the implementation of IPv6. Apart from using the comments received to guide and inform NTIA’s efforts, they also intend to use this as a basis for a contribution to the IGF’s Best Practice Forum on IPv6.

I would like to encourage network operators and other stakeholders tin the RIPE region, who have any data that could be relevant to this project, to share this with the Best Practice Forum, using the questions as posted by the NTIA as a guide. In particular we are interested to learn more details about the costs and return on investment of an IPv6 deployment and the commercial or economic arguments that motivated the decision to invest in and deploy IPv6.
