Chris, Miriam et al,
I participated in the Opening Ceremony and the most impressed with Miriam's
speech - it pretty well represents the Technical Community's sentiment for the
Internet and IGF, and should have been well received by other stakeholders.
Great Job!!

Hello all,
As noted in the recent Cooperation Working Group session, the 2021 Internet
Governance Forum is running from 6-10 December - which means “now”!
The RIPE Chair, Mirjam Kühne, had the opportunity to speak on behalf of the
global Internet technical community in the Opening Ceremony earlier today. You
can read the full text of her speech at the following link (we’ll add video as
soon as it becomes available):

In addition, the RIPE NCC is continuing its tradition of live-blogging key
sessions or issues during the week - we’d love to hear feedback or comments,
either on RIPE Labs page or here on the list:

If you wish to join the IGF sessions (which are taking place both physically in
Katowice and virtually, using Zoom), you will need to register for free here:
https://www.intgovforum.org/en/dashboard/igf-2021
That site also includes information on the many sessions and events taking
place over the coming days.
Best regards,
Chris
