We previously shared the RIPE NCC’s response to an earlier EU consultation regarding this declaration: https://www.ripe.net/participate/internet-governance/multi-stakeholder-engagement/ripe-ncc-response-to-the-declaration-of-digital-principles.pdf While the suggestion we made there (to include a high-level commitment to maintaining a globally interoperable, unfragmented Internet) is not reflected in the new draft, we’ll certainly continue to follow this process and ensure the engagement of the RIPE community. With that in mind, we’d be very interested to hear any feedback or reactions to this new draft from the Commission.
