During this session, Peter Stuckmann of the European Commission will discuss the "White Paper on How to master Europe's digital infrastructure needs," focusing on Pillar II on Completing the Digital Single Market and developments in European telecom rules and networks. Additionally, Dr Joanna Kulesza and Berna Accall Our will present their Internet Society Foundation project on "Satellite Internet: Trust and Data Governance”, covering critical policy issues including challenges related to data sovereignty and jurisdiction in the context of integrating Low Earth Orbit satellite constellations into the telecommunications network as well as the evolving multistakeholder model behind Internet's physical layer.
