This email is a reminder of our regular OpenKollab meeting this Wednesday August 5, at 8am PST/ 11am EST/ 3pm GMT/UTC in the IRC channel #openkollab. Join us to find out more about recent developments and to explore the best way to contribute your unique skills.
During this week, we have started to work on identifying projects and preparing for interviews with the project teams as a way to build the community. We have continued to add information to the wiki, and will focus on making that more presentable and easier to navigate in the coming week. There were also quite a number of discussions about the scope and direction of OpenKollab, which you can read in the IRC chat logs. This led Suresh and Michael to formulate a few principles of collaboration, which we want to present and discuss with you. Specifically, we would like to go through the following points this Wednesday: 1. Introductions - who is participating? 2. OK principles for collaboration 3. Your intentions for OK - what is our joint purpose? 4. OK sub-projects and project leaders 5. Update on sub-projects If you have trouble joining the IRC channel, let one of us know through twitter or skype and we will help you get on. Spread the word!!!
