Dear Paul,

thank you for the advice. In fact

set_display_lists_for_maps(0)

solved the problem.

Dear All,

I installed WinCoot version 0.5. Everything looked OK and I could display maps and molecules. But when switching to hardware stereo the maps were not displayed anymore, while the molecules were displayed perfectly well in stereo.
I got the error message:
"using display list 0 when main_or_secondary is 1"

Did someone experience this too and/or knows a solution for this problem?

Perhaps this will help? Add to your .coot.py file (I am not sure where that
would be in MS Windows)

set_display_lists_for_maps(0)

Paul.
