Yes, the images appear "inside-out" or "back to front". I think we are talking 
about the same thing. It has to do with the images being retarded by one frame 
due to some latencies in the projector, which creates this out-of-sync 
condition. They mention this on their website. 
I'll test the solution you mentioned once I get a chance.

I don't really understand - do you mean simply that the object is back 
to front? (ie. the front clipping plane is at the back?)  If so I would try:

(set-hardware-stereo-angle-factor -1.2)

(something negative anyway).
