I am trying to figure out what is the meaning of probability as applied
to rendering of anisotropic ADP ellipsoids. I tried to read what's in
the code, and it seems that the actual ellipsoid is uniformly stretched
by

1.2*exp(0.3*(1/2-p)/(p*p-1))

where p is the corresponding probability. So, at 50% it is actually 20%
bigger than the actual thermal ellipsoid?
