Hi all, For those using fink 64 bit on snow leopard to install Coot. There is sometime an issue related to the presence of old libexpat libraries in /usr/local/lib: share-mime-info won't compile and coot installation will fail. The workaround is to trash the libexpat.la and libexpat.dylib in /usr/local/lib, and rebuild xml-parser-pm5100 in fink. xml-parser-pm5100 will be linked to the correct libexpat libraries, and share-mime-info will compile flawlessly.
