I am using coot0.5.
Aren't you bored of the nagging dialog yet!? :-)
I want to save the image from coot(snapshot). There is an option in dropdown of the draw called screenshot which saves image as "image.pngr3d". i would appreciate the suggestions.
In the version I have here I would use Draw -> Screenshot -> Simple, for a simple screen dump (anti-aliased sticks, usually).
An r3d is input for raster3d (a ray-traced image): $ render < coot.png.r3d > coot.png Sections 3.5 and 3.6 of the User Manual may be of interest http://www.biop.ox.ac.uk/coot/doc/coot.html#Screenshot Paul.
