On reflection, I agree with you and will schedule this for implementation.
Hmmm... perhaps something paralleling the A-key usage.
Click RSR zone (or whatever).
Hit the key - whole chain is selected.
Maybe another key to pop up a GUI to select residue range for the
clicked chain.
