I subsequently found that H are only drawn when symmetry mode is
Display Near Chains.
Display Sphere does not draw H when these are off in main molecule.

Not separately.
There is of course, Edit -> Bond Parameters -> Draw Hydrogens? No.
In version 0.6 (latest SBGrid version) with H display off in main
molecule, H atomes are drawn in symmetry related molecules, and
terminal Me groups are drawn with triangles connecting H atoms.
0.6.2-pre-1 (the version I have here) does not have these problems.
