Dear All,

I have Coot 0.6.2-pre-1 running on Fedora 14, with NVIDIA Quadro FX3800 +
Smasung 120 Hz LCD monitor and NVIDIA 3D vision kit.

Hardware stereo works great, except that when displaying a model and a map, the map
disappears when I switch to stereo. It is specific to the standard lines view, the model
is displayed correctly and if I change the map properties in Display manager to
Solid/Transparent or "Cut-Glass" the map displays in stereo, and the standard
line map reappears if I switch back to mono.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I encountered that just last week. Noted the relevant error message and found the fix on Teh Interwebs. Enter the following as a python script and all will be well:

set_display_lists_for_maps(0)

BTW, i encountered that with the yum installation of Coot. I am guessing it may have been fixed in more recent versions, which i hope will be updated to the yum package some day.

Cheers,
