Just for completeness:
There is another way to remotely connect to Coot, using sockets. This is
used in remote_control.py and create_server.py (supplied with Coot).
However, I have to admit that the documentation is not good (existent).
It has been on my list for years.... Nat's xml-rpc interface is working
nicely too (maybe better ;-) ).
