Postdoctoral position available in the laboratory of Jack Riordan, Dept of Biochemistry and Biophysics and Cystic Fibrosis Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. To join and provide a major contribution to a team working on the production, purification and characterization of the CFTR ion channel protein for crystallization and X-ray crystallography. Required experience working with membrane proteins and lipids and/or protein crystallization. Focus will be on crystallization in meso in collaboration with experts in that technology.
