I placed .coot.py in the root folder and it worked nicely.
Yep I don't quite remember what version I used previously, but something along
the lines of 0.6. Linux I may main workhorse, that's why I never upgraded.

Ok. I tracked down what's going wrong and fixed it (r4758) (*). This has been
broken for a while (since r3273) it seems. So you must have been using a very
old WinCoot ;-)
