Hello Hadoop team.
Glad to know you put lots of efforts here. I wanna subscribe the dev-mailing
list and hope I will be able to contribute later on. But when I intended to set
the Development Environment in Eclipse(follow with
http://wiki.apache.org/hadoop/EclipseEnvironment), I got an error when I tried
to build Hadoop by Ant. The error message said "cannot run program "sed" at
line 41". I went though build.xml and knew it is:
41: <exec executable="sed" inputstring="${os.name}"
42: outputproperty="nonspace.os">
43: <arg value="s/ /_/g"/>
44: </exec>
What's program "sed"? how to set it up?
