Providing exact location of input data-set creating an error

It would be very useful if we provide exact location (Part file and Offset) of
an input data-set which creates an error.
Root cause could be various issues e.g. corrupt record, incorrect number of
fields assumed by user, not escaping field separator, incorrect data
type/length assumption etc. but having exact location of input data-set
creating error is helpful.
