got some bad news there, the RAID controller is apparently playing up. I
dont know if Jira's problems (too many open files) are related.
I should add that if you care about such things, then its good to
subscribe to the apache infrastructure mailing list. send a subscribe
message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ; there is no requirement
to take on sysadmin tasks just because you are on the list...
