Steve, yes, this matches with the list of requirements I had in mind. Groups
and instances of groups are one way I could think of addressing these
requirements. I agree with you that we need to define the behavior for
overriding, merging and default values. That is what I meant when I wrote that
we need to define the behavior for 'loading configuration from multiple
sources', but your terminology is very clear.
Do you have an alternate proposal ? Do you see issues with the proposal I
described above ? Part of the reason for putting up a proposal was to trigger
this discussion, so your inputs are really appreciated.
